Camp Good News is primarily a children's camp.  However the facilities provide the opportunity for groups to come in for picnics, planning and development retreats, and special events such as banquets.

Some Key Features

• The camp is located on slightly more than eleven acres nestled on a clear, sand bottom, spring-fed lake. 
• We have group sleeping facilities that can accomodate up to 57. 
• We have a large meeting building that has a commercial kitchen.
• We have an outside pavilion for barbeques or just a meal alfresco.
• We have an activity field that is available for outside fun including, but not limited to soccer, football, or softball.
• We have recreation areas for:
  • archery
  • basketball court
  • obstacle course
  • sand volleyball court
  • and a climbing wall to test your skills.
• We have tire tag to challenge children through adults.
• We have slides and a trampoline to help keep you from being stuck in one place for too long.
• Our water slide is a major draw for the children and teens alike.
• We have canoes and a paddle boat for exploring the lake and fishing
  (Sorry, you do need a freshwater fishing license if you are over fourteen.)
• We have an indoor game room to cool off in or to spend a fun-filled evening.
• We have other outside activities or tree-lined retreat for quiet contemplation.
